Student volunteers are needed for the 2017 CSE Expo on Thursday, March 30. All volunteers receive a free T-shirt, light breakfast, and lunch. Student groups can earn a stipend for volunteering. Sign up now!
Help make the CSE Expo a success!

Student volunteers are needed to help at the 2017 CSE Expo, an outreach event for students in grades 6-8. Volunteer shifts are available from 8 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

About 2,000 middle school students are expected to attend the event, which features hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math projects and demos created by University of Minnesota students.

Volunteers are needed to help set up, greet students, guide students around campus, take down, and more. You will be assigned volunteer tasks the day of the event.

All volunteers will receive a free long-sleeved T-shirt, light breakfast, and lunch.

CSE student groups receive a stipend of $100 for every six points earned from volunteering, with a maximum of $200 (12 points) per student group. The points are awarded to volunteer shifts as follows:
  • 8-9 a.m. (1 point)
  • 9-11:30 a.m. (2 points)
  • 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. (2 points)
  • 11:30-2 p.m. (2 points)
  • Noon-2:30 p.m. (2 points)
