Walter Library will have 24-hour access

Walter Library will have 24-hour access, seven days a week with your U Card from 8 a.m. on Friday, April 28 until 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 13. The library has study space, copy machines, study break activities, and more.

Walter Library Great Hall and Room 208 are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week with limited access using your U Card beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 28 until 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 13.

Public Access
Monday-Friday: 7 a.m.-Midnight
Saturday-Sunday: 8 a.m.-Midnight

University Access
Monday-Friday: Midnight-7 a.m.
Saturday-Sunday: Midnight-8 a.m.

The library has study space, copy machines, and more. You can also enjoy hosted study breaks and stress-reducing activities.

Outside of normal library business hours (public access), you will need to use your U Card to access the building from either the Pleasant Street or Northrop Mall entrances. From midnight to 8 a.m., the Great Hall (second floor) and Room 208 will remain open. The central elevators to floors 1 and 2 will also be card access only after midnight.

Students will not have access to collections, services, or library workstations during extended hours.
