Apply for the $2,500 AANAPISI Scholarship

The AANAPISI Scholarship supports Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) students to complete their college education. Seven AAPI students at the University of Minnesota will be awarded up to $2,500 from the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF).

The AANAPISI Scholarship supports Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) students to complete their college education. Seven U of M AAPI students will be awarded up to $2,500 from the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (APIASF).

Scholarship Criteria

  • Be of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity as defined by the U.S. Census.
  • Be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States. Citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are also eligible to apply.
  • Be enrolled as a full-time student in a degree-seeking undergraduate program during the 2018 spring semester.

The application deadline is Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017. Finalists will be notified Dec. 2017, and funds will be awarded Jan. 2018 for the spring semester.
