Up to 12 second-year students from five universities will be chosen to participate in this year's Land O'Lakes, Inc. Global Food Challenge. The challenge runs from Oct. 2017-Oct. 2018 and includes:
  • Participation in special events throughout the year
  • Three hands-on "challenge" assignments to develop creative solutions to real food security issues
  • A $1,000 stipend
  • An 11-week paid summer internship with Land O'Lakes, Inc.
  • Paid travel to key locations including Washington, D.C. and Africa from May-Aug. 2018
  • Working closely with industry experts and a university mentor
  • Opportunity to present your work at the Global Food Challenge Summit Aug. 2017
You must be a U.S. citizen, able to travel abroad, and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher to apply.

Applications are due Monday, Oct. 30, 2017.
