Are you ready to be part of the “coolest” 5K of the year? The Freezin’ for a Reason 5K is a charity race that will be held rain or shine (or blizzard) and take you around the University of Minnesota’s East Bank and West Bank. Both runners and walkers are welcome to participate as well as community members outside the university.

Runners will receive an awesome long sleeve T-shirt, post-race snacks, and can take photos at the 5K photo booth before or after the race.

Early bird registration runs until Nov. 1 and is $20; after then the registration cost is $25.

This year we will be donating to All Hands Volunteers, a disaster relief volunteer organization that is working to restore areas destructed by the recent hurricanes in the U.S.

Sign up for Freezin' for a Reason!

If you don't want to participate in the race, you can show your support by volunteering to staff the event. Sign up to volunteer.
