The Brooke Owens Fellowship Program offers a paid internship and executive mentorship for exceptional undergraduate women in aerospace. Brooke Owens Fellows are selected for their talent, experience to date, commitment to service, and creativity. Their experience in the program is designed to help them grow in each of those areas, turning promising students into thriving leaders. This year, there are 31 host companies:

  • Airports (Mojave)
  • Rocket companies (e.g. SpaceX, Virgin Orbit)
  • Human spaceflight companies (Blue Origin and Virgin Galactic)
  • Satellite manufacturers (e.g. OATK, Planet, SSL, Ball)
  • Aircraft designers (Scaled Composites, Airbus)
  • Drone companies (Amazon Prime Air)
  • Policy shops (CSF, ALPA)
  • Asteroid miners (Planetary Resources)
  • And more.

Fellows also get paired with handpicked mentors, and the mentor pool is made up of astronauts, CEOs, senior government leaders, space reporters, and more.

All undergraduate women are eligible, including those who are not U.S. citizens/permanent residents. Many of the positions are in engineering, but there are also jobs in policy, business/analysis, education, investment, and more.

The application deadline is Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017.
