4:50 p.m. Undergraduate Research Opportunities
5 p.m.—Pizza dinner served
5:15-6:30 p.m.—Career speakers Lindsey Hilleshiem, Research Scientist at Adventium Labs, Daniel Bruzzone, Patent Law Attorney at Patterson and Thuente Pedersen, P.A., and Jason Haupt, Healthcare Analytics at Bind
6:30 p.m.—Participants Break into Lab Tour Groups and depart for lab tours
7:30 p.m.—Keynote Speaker Vuk Mandic will explain how to observe ripples in the fabric of space and time from black holes colliding. The work of Professor Mandic’s experiment, LIGO, the “most precise measuring tape in the world,” won the Nobel Prize in Physics this year.
