CSE International Programs has three-week May Global Seminar programs that are open to all CSE majors. Get to know a CSE professor and earn three technical elective credits (with departmental approval).

Programs offered include:

Italy—Robotics and Machine Learning in Italy
Combining university visits, conference attendance, and company tours with faculty and guest lectures, students will have a window into the technical developments in robotics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Scandinavia—Energy Production Methods in Scandinavia
Award winning Teaching Professor Paul Imbertson (ECE) has taken several groups of University of Minnesota students to Scandinavia to explore energy production methods, and how culture and beliefs guide our energy policies.

Norway—Field Methods in Water Quality in Norway
Based in Trondheim, Norway, this seminar will investigate various methods to analyze the quality of lakes, streams, drinking water, and wastewater.
