Field Methods of Water Quality: Norway Info Session
Friday, Dec. 1, 2017
11 a.m.-Noon
Mechanical Engineering, Room 1130 ​

Based in Trondheim, Norway, this seminar will investigate various methods to analyze the quality of lakes, streams, drinking water, and wastewater. Outside of class, students will have the opportunity to explore Trondheim’s waterfront, cathedrals, fort, and beaches. There are plenty of hiking opportunities along the fjord and in the hills surrounding the city. There will also be trips to Oslo and exploration of Norway’s famous cities, mountains and fjords. The seminar is jointly taught by lead professor Ray Hozalski and numerous instructors from both the University of Minnesota and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Tentative travel dates: ​ May 17, 2018-June 9, 2018
Credit received: Students will receive three credits of CE 4011
Language prerequisite: None
