Be part of Super Bowl week!

The NFL is offering "chance of a lifetime" paid internship and volunteer opportunities exclusively for University of Minnesota students during Super Bowl week to help with the NFL Honors event hosted on campus at Northrop.

NFL Honors is the annual prestigious awards presentation where the NFL honors the year’s biggest players, plays, and moments. The event includes a red carpet entrance similar to the Oscars and is a large production that takes more than a full week to set up and prepare.

The NFL and Northrop are excited to invite University of Minnesota students to apply for many internships and volunteer roles, where students will be able to experience the multi-faceted production process from the inside. The NFL and their affiliates have a wide range of volunteer and paid positions available, including seat fillers, red carpet TV production, writer's assistant, talent escorts, athlete spotters, personal assistants, and more.

These positions are open to all students, but some have specific knowledge or major requirements.

General requirements:

In addition to specific position requirements, U of M students must be current, full-time students in good standing, who are available to work the full shifts listed (but are NOT encouraged to skip class).

Students will also need to go through a credentialing process, which includes an FBI background check, and will need to sign a confidentiality agreement (which will likely include a clause prohibiting taking any pictures).

Students must be available for phone/Skype interviews over winter break and will be contacted directly by the NFL or their affiliates. All positions will be hired, paid (internships), and supervised by the NFL and their affiliates, not by the U of M or Northrop.

To apply:

After reviewing the positions and their qualifications, U of M students are invited to apply at z.umn.edu/nflhonors.

Deadline:

All applications and resumes are due by noon on Wednesday, Dec. 20.
