Field Methods of Water Quality 
Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018
4-5 p.m.
Civil Engineering Building, Room 205 ​

Based in Trondheim, Norway, this global seminar will investigate various methods to analyze the quality of lakes, streams, drinking water, and wastewater. Outside of class, students will have the opportunity to explore Trondheim’s waterfront, cathedrals, fort, and beaches. There are plenty of hiking opportunities along the fjord and in the hills surrounding the city.

There will also be trips to Oslo and exploration of Norway’s famous cities, mountains and fjords. The seminar is jointly taught by lead professor Ray Hozalski and numerous instructors from both the University of Minnesota and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Credit received: Students will receive three credits for CE 4011
