Make mental health a priority

The beginning of the semester is a stressful time, and the University of Minnesota offers many resources to help you get through it.
Take care of yourself!

The beginning of the semester is a stressful time for everyone, and it's normal to feel overwhelmed or anxious. If you or someone you know is dealing with mental health issues, you have multiple resources to help.

Counseling services are available at:
In addition, students with mental health disabilities can also receive support and assistance at the Disability Resource Center.

While at the University, it is possible that a friend, classmate, roommate, or significant other may be dealing with issues such as depression, stress, alcohol misuse, and other issues. You can find information that will help you to support these individuals on the assisting students in distress website.
