Volunteer in the Libraries Makerspace and Breakerspace

The Walter Library and the Bio-Medical Library Makerspace and Breakerspace team is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the team of makers. Volunteers can learn the latest tools to support innovation, from 3-D printing to virtual reality, and help people build their next great idea!

The Walter Library and the Bio-Medical Library Makerspace and Breakerspace team is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the team of makers. Volunteers can learn the latest tools to support innovation, from 3-D printing to virtual reality, and help people build their next great idea!

The Walter Library Breakerspace and the Bio-Medical Library Makerspace are student-driven innovation labs with new maker equipment. Open to all University students, the spaces are staffed by student volunteers, and offer free access to 3D printers, embroidery and sewing machines, vinyl cutters, robotics and electronics tools, soldering irons, hot glue guns, rotary tools, prototyping supplies, and more.

Students interested in helping to help build a maker community are invited to sign up on the Libraries Makerspaces Volunteer Form. No experience is necessary, and all majors are welcome .
