Present or volunteer at the Women+ in Technology Showcase on Saturday, Dec. 1

The Association for Computing Machinery for Women in Computing (ACM-W) will host its first annual Women+ In Technology Showcase on Dec. 1. Students are invited to present or volunteer.

The University of Minnesota chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery for Women in Computing (ACM-W) will host the first annual Women+ in Technology Showcase (WITS). Students in technology are invited to present their projects or volunteer for various duties to help make the event successful.

Deadline to submit your project is Friday, Nov. 23!

WITS will highlight work in tech by diverse U of M students, explore how we can improve gender diversity in tech, and connect students with tech professionals from across the Twin Cities. The event will include poster/demo sessions and presentations by students and industry professionals on topics including open source opportunities (IBM), artificial intelligence (Teradat Analytics), building an API (Target), and user experience design (Epic).

There are 50 tickets available for those who wish to attend the event without presenting or volunteering. To reserve a ticket, visit the registration website and sign in with passcode 2018WITS.
