About the Global Seminar

The India Global Seminar, "Design for Sustainable Development: Discovery," is in Bangalore, India, during May Session 2019. This is a three-credit, three-week study abroad course where you will work in teams to design sustainable solutions to social and environmental problems in Bangalore, India, one of the country’s fast growing cities. By the end of the course you will have built relationships and gained a deeper appreciation of the complexities of sustainable growth and economic development.

The program is open to junior, senior, and graduate students who have a minimum 2.5 GPA. There are no language prerequisites. The program is administered by the Institute on the Environment, and applications are processed through the Learning Abroad Center.
