Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program proposals due Monday, Oct. 14

About UROP

UROP offers funding to University of Minnesota undergraduate students to work on a research project with a faculty mentor. UROP provides a stipend of up to $1,500 for approximately 120 hours of research.

To Apply:

In order to submit a complete application, you will need:

  • faculty mentor information
  • project title, project description and goals, project significance
  • timeline, background experience
  • funds requested and an itemized budget, if requesting expense money
  • three-page project proposal that explains your research question, methodology, research plan, and expected outcome(s) to be uploaded at the end of the application.

Spring 2020 applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, 2019
