Future K-12 STEM educators: Register for the Steering STEM workshop Saturday, Nov. 23

Register for the Steering STEM workshop for future K-12 STEM educators planned for Saturday, Nov. 23, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Bruininks Hall. The event is free and open to anyone interested in K-12 education and includes free STEM-based books to start their classroom collections. Lunch will be provided.
Network with international STEM alumni!

Steering STEM is a workshop for future K-12 educators focused on discussing and dismantling bias in STEM education. Centered on elementary education and middle/high school math and science, the event will include a speaker, panel of current teachers, discussion, and hands-on classroom activity portion. The event is free and open to anyone interested in K-12 education.

Lunch provided.

Participants also will receive free STEM-based books to start their classroom book collection, and lunch will be provided at no charge.
