Learn more about the May 2020 CSE Global Seminar studying existing and emerging energy production methods and energy usage in Iceland, Denmark, and Norway at an information session Wednesday, Jan. 29, 11 a.m.-noon, Lind Hall, Room 305.

Learn more about a three-week May global seminar in Iceland, Denmark & Norway, "Energy Production Methods in Scandinavia," and meet the University of Minnesota faculty leading the program at an upcoming information session.

Students will have the opportunity to study existing and emerging energy production methods and energy usage in Iceland, Denmark, and Norway. Site visits include research universities, wind turbine manufacturers, geothermal power plants, wind farms, hydro facilities, and solar component manufacturers. Some cultural visits include Iceland's Blue Lagoon, Copenhagen, and more!

Tentative travel dates: ​ May 15, 2020-June 4, 2020
Credit received: Students will receive three technical elective credits (with departmental approval)
Language prerequisite: None
