Learn more about a three-week May global seminar, "Robotics and Machine Learning in Spain," at an upcoming information session.

Robotics and Machine Learning in Spain Info Session
Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020

Participants will have the opportunity to explore the current state of research and application of robotics, programming, and design in Spain. Combining university visits, research center discussions, conference attendance, and company tours with faculty and guest lectures, students will have a window into the technical developments in robotics, machine learning, and design. The group will visit many areas in Spain including Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Toledo, and beautiful Granada.

During this program, the group will participate in the global Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, and meet with Spanish research universities and technical companies. Historic and cultural visits will include the Prado Museum, Plaza Mayor, Alhambra, Sagrada Familia, a flamenco show, and more.

Tentative travel dates: ​ May 14, 2020-June 4, 2020
Credit received: Students will receive three technical elective credits (with departmental approval)
Language prerequisite: None
