Mark International Women’s Month by creating and improving Wikipedia profiles of University of Minnesota women faculty in STEAMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Medicine)—past and present—at the UMN Women in STEAMM Wikithon on Thursday, March 5, 5-8 p.m., Walter Library, Toaster Innovation Hub. No Wikipedia editing experience required.

You don’t need experience editing Wikipedia pages. Just show up with your curiosity and a laptop. We’ll walk you through the rest. This is a great opportunity to contribute and learn while connecting to a community with a shared interest in raising the visibility of women in academia.

The wikithon is a recipient of a Women’s Center Gender Equity Grant. A collaboration between the College of Science and Engineering; College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences; College of Biological Sciences; BioTechnology Institute; the Digital Arts, Sciences and Humanities (DASH) Program at the University of Minnesota; Women in Science and Engineering (WISE); and University Libraries.
