Walter Library's new Toaster Innovation Hub opens Feb. 17

Explore Walter Library's new Toaster Innovation Hub and attend a variety of speaking events and workshops during the week of Feb. 17.

See what innovative ideas pop up in the Toaster!

Located in the lower level of Walter Library, the new Toaster Innovation Hub is an adaptable space for students from all colleges to collaborate on innovation and entrepreneurship projects and bring abstract ideas to life. The space is presented in collaboration with the Carlson School's Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship.

Students, student organizations, and experiential courses will have access to 6,500 square feet for collaboration, presentations, group meetings, prototyping, and more.

Intended to be a place where "ideas are generated, discoveries are made, and entrepreneurial spirits are ignited," the Toaster is a place where students can:
  • Connect and collaborate with fellow students
  • Launch a product, service, or vision
  • Design, build, tinker, and make
  • Learn from industry experts
  • Find campus resources
