UMN Makers host virtual workshops throughout April

Although Anderson Student Innovation Labs remain closed due to COVID-19, the Anderson Labs team is joining several other University-wide makerspaces in hosting virtual workshops for the rest of the semester.
Attend virtual maker workshops!

Anderson Student Innovation Labs remain closed until further notice due to the emerging concerns related to COVID-19. However, that doesn’t mean you have to stop making things!

Find opportunities to be creative and connect with fellow makers through the UMN Makers website, a collaborative effort between several makerspaces across the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus.

All throughout April, join weekly "Mending Mondays" workshops hosted by the College of Design's Fabrication Lab. There will be two sessions every Monday.

Mending Mondays
Every Monday starting April 6, 2020
10:30-11 a.m.
1-2 p.m.

Join others for an informal clothing mending session via Zoom. Bring your torn jeans, busted seams, and a needle and thread for this social hour of sewing and learning together. Feel free to stop by for the whole session or just pop in for a bit. For more info and to join the Zoom session, visit the UMN Makers website.

More workshops and events are coming soon! For more details, keep watching the UMN Makers website.
