University Libraries is offering the "Think Like a Researcher" online workshop and mini-course during fall semester to help undergraduate students become comfortable with the skills and tools needed to participate in research.

"Think Like a Researcher" is designed to help undergraduate students become comfortable with the research skills and tools needed to participate in a variety of exciting research and creative opportunities. Workshop topics include the benefits and challenges of research, finding faculty mentors, a panel of student researchers, examples of student projects, and more.

For Fall 2020, "Think Like a Researcher" will be a mix of recorded videos, short activities to help students explore, and online synchronous panels with faculty research mentors and student researchers. The workshop and mini-course should take about 1.5-2 hours to complete.

To participate, register for workshops online by Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020. To learn more, visit the Think Like a Researcher website. If you have any questions, please contact Kate Peterson at katep@umn.edu or 612-626-3746.
