CSE Winter Light Show goes virtual

The CSE Winter Light Show is going virtual! Even though there will not be an in-person light show this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, the students of Tesla Works will premiere a video on Friday, Dec. 11 highlighting the last 10 years of the show. Plus, we want to see your holiday lights! In the spirit of the CSE Light Show, we're encouraging you to show us your own light show on social media for a chance to win a $50 UMN Bookstore gift card.

And that's not all...we want to see your holiday lights! In the spirit of the CSE Light Show, we're encouraging you to show us your own light show on social media for a chance to win a $50 UMN Bookstore gift card.

Between now and the video premiere on Friday, Dec. 11, your challenge is to post a 10-15 second video, boomerang, or photo of your own holiday lights on your favorite social media platforms (Instagram stories count, too) to be entered into the random prize drawings.

You can decorate your residence hall room, house, apartment, workspace, car, or yourself....be creative, but be safe. You must tag UMN CSE (Facebook: @umn.cse, Twitter: @UMNCSE, Instagram: @umncse) and use the hashtag #CSELightShow2020 to be entered in the drawings. Each post counts as one entry. Remember to wear your favorite Gopher gear in your video!
