SWE Jamboree attendees will have a chance to network, attend lightning talks, and engage with the keynote speaker, Jayshree Seth, 3M Chief Science Advocate and corporate scientist, via Zoom.

Jayshree Seth is a corporate scientist at 3M and holds 71 patents for a variety of innovations. She leads applied technology development projects for 3M’s Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division. Seth was appointed 3M’s first ever Chief Science Advocate in 2018 and is using her scientific knowledge, technical expertise and professional experience to advocate for science.

Seth holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Clarkson University in New York, and recently received the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) highest achievement award. She is the author of the book "The Heart of Science – Engineering Footprints, Fingerprints, and Imprints," the proceeds of which go to a SWE scholarship for women of color in STEM.
