The University of Minnesota Alumni Association (UMAA) will host the "Maroon and Gold Connections" virtual career networking event on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. The interactive event is free and open to students and alumni of all colleges, industries, and career levels.

Participants will have the opportunity to make new and meaningful career connections, gain useful strategies for expanding their network, interact in industry-based networking conversations, have the opportunity to initiate one-to-one “speed” networking conversations with other participants, and learn about resources and career opportunities with our event partners.

This event will also feature a keynote address from UMN alumnus Walter Bond about the “Power of Connections” that will energize and ignite your career. Bond is a world-renowned motivational speaker and business coach who strives to help people see their full potential.

Win prizes for interacting with expo booth activities, participating in industry-based networking sessions and expanding your network. Industry-based networking sessions include:
