Enter the Global Health Work Group photo contest by Friday, April 2

University of Minnesota students are invited to submit entries for the School of Public Health (SPH) Global Health Work Group annual photo contest. Engage in global health!

"Zero Hunger" is one of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals which aims to eliminate hunger by the year 2030. Hundreds of millions of people worlwide—nearly 9 percent of the world's population—suffer from hunger, and this number is estimated to double because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Submissions must be original work and could be a traditional photograph or a photograph of a painting or drawing. Submissions must be accompanied with your name, photograph title, and a 100- 200-word description of what the visual communicates. The description may also be submitted as poetry within the same word limit.
