Research, like everything, continues to look different due to Covid-19, but it hasn’t stopped. University faculty have been creative and students researchers have risen to the challenges. If you want to learn more about how to get started, this mini-course will address a wide variety of ways including volunteering, taking a course, exploring the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) and Undergraduate Research Scholarship (URS), and participating in research over the summer.

For May 2021, Think Like a Researcher will be a Canvas course and will consist of a mix of videos, short activities to help you explore, and an optional online Q&A session. Once you register, you will receive updates with next steps. It's estimated that the course will take 2-3 hours to complete on your own timeline.

To learn more, visit the Think Like a Researcher website. If you have any questions, please contact Kate Peterson at katep@umn.edu or 612-626-3746.
