Apply to the Institute for Social Research and Data Innovation summer diversity fellowship program by Monday, Feb. 28

The University of Minnesota Institute for Social Research and Data Innovation (ISRDI) is accepting applications for its summer diversity fellowship program working with the Minnesota Population Center (MPC) or Life Course Center (LCC) on demographic research or data infrastructure projects. The program runs Friday, June 20-Friday, Aug. 12, 2022. The application deadline is Monday, Feb. 28.

The University of Minnesota Institute for Social Research and Data Innovation (ISRDI) is accepting applications for its summer diversity fellowship program working with the Minnesota Population Center (MPC) or Life Course Center (LCC) on demographic research or data infrastructure projects. The program runs Friday, June 20-Friday, Aug. 12, 2022.

Established in 2015, the program was developed as a diversity enrichment initiative to provide underrepresented undergraduate and graduate students opportunities to work on IPUMS data infrastructure projects or with MPC or LCC member faculty on demographic research projects.

Applicants must be currently enrolled students and should self-identify with a systemically underrepresented group that includes, but is not limited to African Americans, American Indians, Hispanic/Latino/a Americans, and Asian Americans. Also considered are first-generation students, women students in tech fields, LGBTQ students, and students with disabilities.

The deadline to apply for the fellowships is Monday, Feb. 28.
