CSE Mental Health Affinity Group
Tuesdays, March 1-May 3, 2022
Noon-1 p.m. Central Time
Pillsbury Hall, Room 314

The CSE Mental Health Affinity Group was created as a space to cultivate community and receive support. Possible topics to explore as a group could include navigating the University system; mental health; relationships; professional, major, and career exploration; xenophobia; racism; sexism; various additional intersecting identities; current events; and other topics the group identifies.

While a commitment to the entire nine weeks is not a requirement, the organizers believe that students will gain more from this experience the more frequently they attend. The group is facilitated by two College of Science and Engineering staff members.

Please note that this is not a replacement for therapy or medical assistance, but rather an opportunity to debrief, support, and connect with peers in CSE. Privacy and confidentiality is of the utmost importance and there is an expectation that all group members will practice and maintain privacy and confidentiality regarding identities and stories shared. At this time, the group is available only to CSE undergraduate students.

If you are interested in being a part of the group or would like to know more, please complete the CSE Mental Health Affinity Group interest form.
