Participate in a mental health focus group for CSE students

Do you have thoughts about student mental health in CSE that you’d like to share? Does being a CSE student have an effect on your mental health? Do you feel supported on campus in regard to your mental health? CSE and the public health team at Boynton Health are interested in your experiences and opinions about student mental health in CSE, and invite you to apply to participate in a focus group via Zoom with members of the Boynton public health team. Focus group meetings are in late March and early April. Apply by Sunday, March 27.

CSE and the public health team at Boynton Health are interested in your experiences and opinions about student mental health in CSE. Apply to participate in a focus group with Boynton Health’s public health team, and share your experiences as an undergraduate CSE student. 

The team is looking for a diverse group of students to participate including first-generation college students, students living away from campus, and others. All undergraduate CSE students are encouraged to apply.

Those selected to participate will receive a $20 Amazon gift card upon completion of the focus group. Focus groups will be scheduled during late March and early April via Zoom. Results of the focus group will be used to formulate future University and collegiate initiatives addressing multiple facets of students’ mental health.

Interested students should complete the CSE undergrad student mental health screening form to apply. The application deadline is Sunday, March 27.
