Volunteer to be a facilitator for the CSE and 4-H 'Engineering Energy Explorers' program

College of Science and Engineering (CSE) student volunteer facilitators are needed for 'Engineering Energy Explorers,' a virtual after school program for middle school students to explore engineering. The five-week program, offered by CSE in partnership with Minnesota 4-H, will be held Thursdays, March 24-April 21, from 6-7 p.m. Central Time. CSE student volunteers will facilitate small breakout rooms to provide support and feedback to participants, and must commit to attending one or more program sessions.

College of Science and Engineering (CSE) student volunteer facilitators are needed for 'Engineering Energy Explorers,' a virtual after school program for middle school students to explore engineering.

Engineering Energy Explorers
Thursdays, March 24-April 21
6-7 p.m. Central Time
Platform: Virtual

The program is offered by CSE in partnership with Minnesota 4-H to provide middle school youth the opportunity to explore mechanical, electrical, chemical, and geothermal engineering through challenge activities. CSE student volunteers will facilitate small breakout rooms to provide support and feedback to participants as they show or describe their solution to the weekly challenge activity.

Student volunteers must commit to attending one or more of the five-week program sessions and must participate in a 45-minute orientation on either Wednesday, March 16, at 5 p.m., or Thursday, March 17, at 7 p.m.
