It's almost time for your graduation celebration!
We are so excited to honor bachelor's degree graduates at a variety of 2023 Commencement activities. It is important to watch your email closely over the next couple of months to be sure you are meeting all the deadlines.
Campus-wide events
Registration for the Conferral Ceremonies and Stage Crossings is now open! Check your email from our Commencement vendor MarchingOrder.
Undergraduate Student Conferral Ceremony
Saturday, May 13, 2023
1 p.m.
The conferral ceremony will be a ticketed event, and all seating will be general admission. The event will be live streamed and recorded.
Stage Crossings
Thursday, May 11-Saturday, May 13, 2023
Students sign up for a specific day and time
Graduates will have the opportunity to sign up to cross a stage while their guests have a front-row viewing experience to cheer and take photos and video. CSE deans and other leaders will be available to congratulate students.
Registration for the Conferral Ceremonies and Stage Crossings is open until Monday, April 10, 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
CSE department celebrations
We are also pleased to announce that College of Science and Engineering academic departments are planning celebrations to honor bachelor’s degree graduates. The event times, dates, and locations are listed on our CSE department celebrations for bachelor's degree candidates webpage. More information about these events will be sent to you from your department in the coming weeks.
Next steps for graduates
Please note that there are three distinct action items for graduates:
- Confirm in MyU that your expected graduation term is correct.
- Sign up to attend the campus-wide Conferral Ceremony and Stage Crossing events through our University vendor MarchingOrder—sign up is open until April 10.
- Sign up to attend department commencement events. Watch for information from your department.

This year’s commencement will be different from the past, but the wide range of events will still allow you to choose experiences with your guests that celebrate your accomplishments in ways most meaningful for you.
