The University of Minnesota's Orientation and Transition Experiences is accepting applications for 2023 Welcome Week Leader positions. Welcome Week focuses on providing a quality transitional experience for new students and helps new students prepare for their life at the U of M through planning, exploring campus, building community, and participating in campus traditions.

Leaders will have the opportunity to develop valuable leadership skills, practice inclusive communication and facilitation strategies, and help create a welcoming, inclusive environment and seamless transition for the incoming Class of 2027, as well as transfer students.

Position qualifications:

Cumulative GPA of 2.3 or higher

Enrolled full time (13 credits) as an undergraduate student through Fall 2023 semester

Good judicial standing with Office of Community Standards and Housing and Residential Life

Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Ability to work independently, think critically, and be adaptable to situations
