Volunteer at DMD 2023!
The Design of Medical Devices Conference is looking for volunteers to help with a variety of conference activities and tasks on Monday, April 17-Wednesday, April 19. Volunteer shifts are available for conference materials pick up and delivery, event set up, registration, 5K run, and event tear down. Volunteers receive a free conference registration and one lunch.

The DMD conference is a national forum that brings together world-class medical device designers, researchers, manufacturers, and the public sector to share perspectives and innovations in medical device design, as well as to showcase the University of Minnesota as a leader in the medical device community.
Volunteer shifts include:
Monday, April 17- 10 a.m.-noon: Conference materials pick up at Mechanical Engineering and Mayo buildings, and deliver to the Graduate Minneapolis
- 3-5:30 p.m.: Set-up at the Graduate Minneapolis
- 4-6 p.m.: 5K set up and help, Coffman Union
- 6-8 p.m.: 5K help and tear down, Coffman Union
- 7-9:30 a.m.: Registration, Graduate Minneapolis
- 9:30 a.m.-noon: Registration, Graduate Minneapolis
- 11:45 a.m.-2 p.m.: Registration, Graduate Minneapolis
- 2-4 p.m.: Registration, Graduate Minneapolis
- 4-6 p.m.: Set up and help with Student Showcase, McNamara Alumni Center
- 4-6 p.m.: Registration, Graduate Minneapolis
- 7-9:30 a.m.: Registration, Graduate Minneapolis
- 9:30 a.m.-noon: Registration, Graduate Minneapolis
- 11:45 a.m.-2 p.m.: Registration, Graduate Minneapolis
- 2-4 p.m.: Registration, Graduate Minneapolis
- 4-6 p.m. Registration, Graduate Minneapolis
- 6-7:30 p.m.; Tear down, Graduate Minneapolis and deliver materials to Mechanical Engineering
