Kautt will explain the role cybersecurity plays in the modern retail company and how she navigates the challenges of leadership on the edge.

The University of Minnesota Technological Leadership Institute (TLI) presents Technically Speaking: "Cracking the Code: New Leadership Roles in Cybersecurity," with Jodie Kautt, vice president of cybersecurity at Target, on Thursday, May 4. Kautt also will demystify the world of cybersecurity for the uninitiated and explore how leaders with all kinds of backgrounds can contribute to the cybersecurity function within organizations.

Kautt is the executive champion for Target Tech’s Diversity Action Committee, focused on building a team that values open dialogue, respect, inclusion, and diversity. She is also a member of New York University’s Cyber Fellows Advisory Council.
