New video helps you prepare for the CSE Virtual Career Fair

Preparing for a virtual career fair is similar but comes with a few key differences. CSE has produced a short video that will help you get ready for the spring career fair, covering topics from your device to your resume to your attire.

Sign up beginning Monday, Feb. 1 for virtual Career Fair meetings with employers

Like the Fall 2020 fair, the Spring 2021 Career Fair will be virtual. Beginning Monday, Feb. 1 at 8 a.m. Central Time, you can sign up to speak with employers at the fair on Tuesday, Feb. 9. More than 100 companies and organizations will be available during the fair as they search for new employees and interns.

College of Science and Engineering students are invited to participate in the CSE Deans' Workshop and Discussion, an opportunity for virtual face-to-face conversations with the CSE dean and associate deans on diversity and inclusion topics on Monday, Feb. 8 at 4 p.m. Register by Friday, Feb. 5.

Register for the Penn State Global Engineering Engagement spring conference, submit discussion proposals and video contest entries

Penn State’s Center for Global Engineering Engagement (GEE) is now accepting proposal and video contest submissions for its virtual conference, "Engineering Your Global Experiences: Building Global Competencies for the Future Engineering Workforce," scheduled for Thursday, April 1. The conference is free and registration is required.

Register for the MIN-Corps fall Innovation Value Design Proposition online certificate course or webinar

Register for the MIN-Corps spring Value Proposition Design online certificate course for innovators exploring the commercialization potential of research-based innovations. The five-session, hands-on course includes instruction and mentoring by experts in tech commercialization. The certificate courses, as well as the optional "light" webinar, are free to current University of Minnesota students, staff, and faculty.

You also can meet employers at the Co-op Program's Zoom room as part of the CSE Virtual Career Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
