Fall 2024 Dean's List is now online

Congratulations to the College of Science and Engineering (CSE) students who made the Dean's List for the Fall 2024 semester. The list is now available on the CSE website, on CSE's social media platforms, and is displayed in the first-floor lobby of Walter Library and near the CSE Student Services front desk on the first floor of Lind Hall.

Attend the Neurodiversity Ambassador Panel on Tuesday, Jan. 28

Connect with neurodivergent peers who have found meaningful employment at neuro-inclusive companies! At this virtual event on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 11-11:45 a.m., hear from a panel of neurodivergent individuals as they share their employment journeys. Panelists will discuss the supports and accommodations that have been beneficial to them, along with key topics like the job search, onboarding, and interview process. Engage with the panel during an interactive Q&A session.

Attend Studying Abroad as a First-Gen Student: Focus on Finances on Tuesday, Jan. 28

First-generation students interested in studying abroad are invited to attend this event on Tuesday, Jan. 28, noon-1 p.m, Appleby Hall, Room 303. Participants can enjoy a free lunch and beverages while learning about the financial aspects of studying abroad. The session will cover financial aid, scholarships, and other key money-related topics to help students explore their options.The first 30 attendees will receive a free passport photo voucher from the UMN Passport Office.

Registration is suggested; drop-ins are welcome.

Attend the 2025 Pre-Health Opportunities Fair to connect with local and on-campus organizations that provide experiences to prepare you for health professional school. Are you a BIPOC college student looking to grow your career? This event is designed for BIPOC students and led by BIPOC professionals. The event on Thursday, Feb. 6, will feature a panel discussion featuring Timberwolves and Pentair professionals who will share their career journeys. Academic Advising will hold extended drop-in hours on Tuesday, Jan. 21

CSE Academic Advising will hold extended virtual drop-in advising hours on Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 9 a.m.-noon Central Time via Zoom, and 1-4 p.m. in person in Lind Hall, Room 105. You must check in by 3:45 p.m. Normal drop-in advising hours are 2-4 p.m., Monday-Friday and will resume Wednesday, Jan. 22.
