Clothing for a Cause event on Monday, April 21

Partnering with the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota, the Plumb Bob student organization is inviting students to bring a clothing item (in good condition) to donate in exchange for a free lunch from Noodles and Company! This event is Monday, April 21, noon-1:30 p.m., Walter Library.

Study Abroad in Mechanical Engineering: Departmental Meeting on Wednesday, April 23

Are you currently pursuing a mechanical engineering degree or interested in pursuing one? Are you also interested in studying abroad? Meet with the departmental faculty and staff on Wednesday, April 23, 3:30-4:30 p.m., Mechanical Engineering, to learn about opportunities for mechanical engineering students to spend part of their degree abroad.

Disability:IN Minnesota's 2025 INclusive Career Fair on Friday, April 25

This career event on Friday, April 25, 1-4 p.m., will feature employer presentations, career networking, one-on-one informational interviews and resume reviews. Employers including Barr Engineering, Land O’Lakes, nVent, UnitedHealth Group, and others committed to creating a more diverse and disability-inclusive workforce will attend. The registration deadline is Wednesday, April 23.

Attend the CSE Gala: A Bioluminescent Ball on Sunday, April 27

Dance, eat, and mingle at the CSE Gala on Sunday, April 27, 6-10 p.m., McNamara Alumni Center, as the community comes together to celebrate the end of the year! CSE student group awards will be presented, and royalty will be crowned. Formal attire is encouraged (black tie optional). Advance registration is required, and space is limited.

Attend a Tanzania global seminar information session on Thursday, April 17

For more than 10 years, College of Science and Engineering students have collaborated with communities in Tanzania and a Minnesota nonprofit to design water systems. Students are invited to learn more about planning for the Winter Break 2025-26 group, speak with faculty, and get their questions answered at this information session on Thursday, April 17, 3-4 p.m., Mechanical Engineering.

Celebrate CSE Week 2025 Monday, April 21-Sunday, April 27

Join fellow students in celebrating CSE Week 2025 Monday, April 21-Sunday, April 27. There are more than 15 events planned, including free food, bingo, karaoke, trivia, bowling, volunteer opportunities, and much more! You can also get free CSE Week T-shirts, ceramic mugs, magnets, buttons, and stickers, at each cookout while supplies last. Coordinated by the student organization Plumb Bob, CSE Week is a long-standing tradition in the college, dating back to 1914.
