Learn about a global seminar in Tanzania!
For more than 10 years, College of Science and Engineering students have collaborated with communities in Tanzania and a Minnesota nonprofit to design water systems. Students are invited to learn more about planning for the Winter Break 2025-26 group, speak with faculty, and get their questions answered at this information session.

Program highlights and details:
- Earn three credits
- Gain hands-on experience of an engineering challenge with real-world impact
- Evaluate community needs and infrastructure to model potable water-handling systems
- Be introduced to the land and the people of Tanzania
- Experience both Tanzanian city life and village life
- Stay in Ruaha National Park, one of the world’s most famous safari destinations
