Celebrate Wellness Week Nov. 18-22

Join fellow students across campus in celebrating Wellness Week 2019 from Monday, Nov. 18-Friday, Nov. 22. A variety of fun and educational activities are planned throughout the week to support students' physical, nutritional, and mental wellness, and much more. The week caps off with the annual Freezin' for a Reason 5K Friday, Nov. 22.

Meet a panel of University of Minnesota international alumni currently working in the Twin Cities at the International STEM Alumni Connections event Wednesday, Nov. 20, 4:30-6:30 p.m., Tate Hall, Room 120. The Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers student chapter invites you to "The Road to Professional Licensure: Where to Go and How to Get There" information session on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 4:15 p.m. Nirmal Jain, principal engineer for Facilities Management utilities engineering, is the featured speaker. Future K-12 STEM educators: Register for the Steering STEM workshop Saturday, Nov. 23

Register for the Steering STEM workshop for future K-12 STEM educators planned for Saturday, Nov. 23, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Bruininks Hall. The event is free and open to anyone interested in K-12 education and includes free STEM-based books to start their classroom collections. Lunch will be provided.
