Did you know that there is a U.S. Passport Office on campus? Students considering study abroad this summer should apply for a new or renew a current passport ASAP. Passport processing is currently taking up to 11 weeks for both new and renewal passports.

Sign up for the William Lowell Putnam Mathematics Competition on Saturday, Dec. 4

The Mathematical Association of America (MAA) will host the 82nd annual William Lowell Putnam Mathematics Competition Saturday, Dec. 4, in two three-hour sessions from 9 a.m.-noon and 2-5 p.m. in Nicholson Hall. Known as the preeminent mathematics competition for undergraduate college students in the U.S. and Canada, the Putnam Competition has become the leading university-level mathematics examination in the world. Practice sessions will be every Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

Apply for a grant up to $5,000 in the MIN-Corps MVP Prototyping Challenge by Friday, Dec. 10

Apply for up to $5,000 in the MIN-Corps Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Challenge to develop a prototype that demonstrates the impact of your innovation. The MVP Challenge will award 20-30 grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 each. The application deadline is Friday, Dec. 10.

CSE Academic Advising will hold extended virtual drop-in advising hours from Monday, Nov. 8 through Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1-4 p.m., via Zoom. Make a virtual drop-in appointment and check in by 3:45 p.m. Normal virtual drop-in advising hours are 2-4 p.m., Monday-Friday and will resume Monday, Nov. 29 via Zoom.

Last day to withdraw from a fall semester class is Monday, Nov. 15

Monday, Nov. 15 is the last day you can withdraw from a fall 2021 full-semester class without using your One-Time-Only Late Withdrawal or petitioning to withdraw due to extenuating circumstances. If you withdraw now, you will have a "W" on your record.
