Typically, the spring semester of sophomore year is the key time for BME majors to go abroad. Recommended study abroad programs for BME students include the University of Limerick in Ireland and Budapest University of Technology and Economics in Hungary.

Theta Tau, a professional co-ed engineering fraternity, is returning to the University of Minnesota! Theta Tau staff and national officers will be on campus Wednesday, April 10-Tuesday, April 16. Several events are planned, including a lunch, Pizza in the Park, and Resume Workshop and Networking Event. Join fellow students in celebrating CSE Week 2024 Monday, April 15-Friday, April 19. There are more than 20 events planned, including free food, CSE Olympic Games, trivia, and more! You can also get free CSE Week T-shirts, keychains, buttons, stickers, and tote bags, at each cookout while supplies last. Coordinated by the student organization Plumb Bob, CSE Week is a long-standing tradition in the college, dating back to 1914.
