Mark your calendar for the Fall 2024 CSE Career Fair Tuesday, Sept. 17 and Wednesday, Sept. 18. More than 225 employers are registered and eager to connect with students interested in job opportunities, co-ops, and internships. Pre-registration is not required, but is encouraged so you can research attending employers. You can also sign up now for Practice Interview Day and the Resume Marathon.

CSE Career Services offers a wide variety of workshops on resumes, interviewing, co-ops, job and internship search strategies, and more to help you prepare for the Fall 2024 CSE Career Fair.

Attend the CSE Career Fair Kickoff on Wednesday, Sept. 11

Interact with our employer sponsors in a relaxed setting and get ready for the career fair by connecting with CSE Career Services at the CSE Career Fair Kickoff on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 9:30 a.m.-noon, Lind Hall. The first 50 students to visit the companies at the event will be eligible to receive a CSE-branded padfolio. There will also be free food, career fair preparation resources, and a photo booth for those who need a photo for their LinkedIn or Handshake profile.

Sign up for the CSE Mentor Program by Wednesday, Sept. 25 to connect with industry professionals

Registration is now open for sophomore, junior, and senior CSE students to sign up to be matched with an industry mentor working in your major or career of interest. Mentors can provide advice on succeeding academically, finding a job or internship, exploring graduate school, and making professional connections. The registration deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 25. Space is limited so sign up now!

Explore international opportunities in CSE

Did you know that there are two dedicated staff in CSE to help you find the right international opportunity? And did you know that there is a CSE College/Major Advising Guide for Study Abroad? You can also search for programs recommended for your major.

Stop by the CEGE open house on Tuesday, Sept. 10

Join the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geo- Engineering (CEGE) at an open house Tuesday, Sept. 10, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Civil Engineering Courtyard. There will be free food and beverages. Meet with CEGE student groups and employers. 

Attend the Undergraduate Student Job Fair on Thursday, Sept. 5

Looking for a student job on campus? Attend the Undergraduate Student Job Fair on Thursday, Sept. 5, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., University Recreation and Wellness Center. Starting wages are $15.25 an hour.

Stay safe on and near campus

Stay up-to-date on University safety measures and resources so you can make informed decisions to keep yourself safe on and near campus. The University provides safety notifications, free walking and biking escorts, a virtual escort, and late-night rides.
