Monday, Nov. 13 is the last day you can withdraw from a fall 2023 full-semester class without using your One-Time-Only Late Withdrawal or petitioning to withdraw due to extenuating circumstances. If you withdraw now, you will have a "W" on your record.

The Mathematical Association of America (MAA) will host the 84th William Lowell Putnam Mathematics Competition Saturday, Dec. 2, in two three-hour sessions from 9 a.m.-noon and 2-5 p.m. in Vincent Hall. Known as the preeminent mathematics competition for undergraduate college students in the U.S. and Canada, the Putnam Competition has become the leading university-level mathematics examination in the world. Practice sessions will be every Wednesday from 2:30-4 p.m. in Vincent Hall, room 215.

The Minnesota Undergraduate Research and Academic Journal (MURAJ) is seeking undergraduate student reviewers for the 2023-24 academic year to help review research papers within a specified focus area for publication in the journal. You will review manuscripts of original research from your field and prepare them for publishing. The application deadline is Sunday, Oct. 15.
