The Mathematical Association of America (MAA) will host the 84th William Lowell Putnam Mathematics Competition Saturday, Dec. 2, in two three-hour sessions from 9 a.m.-noon and 2-5 p.m. in Vincent Hall. Known as the preeminent mathematics competition for undergraduate college students in the U.S. and Canada, the Putnam Competition has become the leading university-level mathematics examination in the world. The Minnesota Undergraduate Research and Academic Journal (MURAJ) is seeking undergraduate student reviewers for the 2023-24 academic year to help review research papers within a specified focus area for publication in the journal.
