Lower- and upper-division students who are on track to receive a degree from the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geo- Engineering (CEGE) are eligible for a Bolton & Menk Scholarship worth up to $8,000 ($2,000 per year for up to four years). The application deadline is Friday, Nov. 22.

Bolton & Menk University of Minnesota scholarships promote the recruitment and retention of students within the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geo- Engineering (CEGE). Lower- and upper-division students who are on track to receive a degree from CEGE are eligible for this scholarship worth up to $8,000 ($2,000 per year for up to four years).

Eligibility

• Currently enrolled in the College of Science and Engineering
• Lower-division student taking classes on the path to declaring a CEGE major or upper-division student with a CEGE declared major
• 3.0 minimum GPA (college transcript required)
• Students will need to provide an official class registration/transcript as proof of their pursuit of a CEGE major

Applicants also must submit a short (500-word) essay answering the question, "How do you see the next generation of civil, environmental, and/or geo-engineers making an impact on our world?"

Applications are due Friday, Nov. 22, 2024.
