Attend Studying Abroad as a First-Gen Student on Wednesday, Oct. 16

Are you a first-generation college student interested in exploring study abroad opportunities? Join the Learning Abroad Center for Studying Abroad as a First-Gen Student on Wednesday, Oct. 16, noon-1:30 p.m., Walter Library. At this event you'll hear from a panel of first-generation students who have studied abroad. They'll share their experiences, offer tips on the application process and provide insights from their journeys.

Join the Learning Abroad Center for this event where you'll hear from a panel of first-generation students who have studied abroad. They'll share their experiences, offer tips on the application process and provide insights from their journeys.

The event will also cover the basics of studying abroad at the University of Minnesota (UMN), answer any questions participants might have, and share more about the new First Generation Student Study Abroad Scholarship.

Free pizza and drinks!

The first 30 students to attend will receive a free passport photo voucher from the UMN Passport Office.
