Tesla x University of Minnesota: A Day in the Life as a Controls Engineer

Tesla Midwest will host a special session providing an inside look at "a day in the life at Tesla." The session will include a 35- to 40-minute presentation, followed by a Q&A with hiring managers.
Managers and alumni in attendance will represent opportunities in controls engineering from Tesla’s Midwest operations in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and Elgin, Illinois.
Mechanical and electrical engineering are the primary majors aligned with these opportunities.

Attendees will also hear directly from Epic’s tech experts during a special tech talk, where they will discuss how the company designs software with accessibility at the forefront.
Epic is a healthcare software company headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, with customers in all 50 states and internationally. The company designs, builds, and implements applications for everything from hospital scheduling and medical specialties to hospital billing. About 78% of the U.S. population receives care using Epic software.
