Earn credits and be a part of hands-on engineering learning and challenges with real-world impact this May. CSE International Programs is seeking applicants for the May 2024 session in Switzerland.

Led by CSE professors, the three-week May global seminar is open to all CSE majors. There are no prerequisites or language requirements.

Travel dates: Friday, May 10-Friday, May 31, 2024

Eligible students:  Open to UMN and non-UMN juniors and seniors.

The application deadline is Friday, March 1.

This seminar is for junior and senior students interested in product design, robotics, programming, and development. Based at the Zürich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur, the program is a specialized, concise course in mechatronics—complex systems, composed of mechanical components, computers, and sensors.

The seminar also includes a cultural and geographical survey of Switzerland, its land, and people. Past excursions have included the Swiss Alps, Zürich, and Geneva.
