International Student Career Fair Preparation Workshop

Join this session to prepare for the upcoming spring 2025 career fairs. The event will feature tips and information from presenters with International Student and Scholar Services and Career Services. All UMN international students attending spring career fairs are welcome. Topics include what to expect at a career fair, how to talk with employers, work authorization options, and tips for successful interactions and follow-up.

Major Exploration for International Students

Deciding on a major can be challenging and overwhelming. Attend this virtual presentation to learn about your options at the University of Minnesota and consider how different majors could align with your needs and career goals. We'll discuss the factors to consider when choosing a major, the available majors at the University of Minnesota, and how you can explore careers through experiences, including an introduction to work authorization.
This event is specifically designed to support undergraduate international students who are undecided or exploring majors, but it is open to all undergraduate students.
This event is a collaboration between Career Services Administration, International Student & Scholar Services, the Center for Academic Planning and Exploration, and College of Liberal Arts Career Services.
